If you have been following my content here on NewDev, you know I have spent years breaking down complex topics for developers who are just starting out or leveling up. From JavaScript functions to how the internet works, the goal has always been the same: make hard things clear.

That is exactly what I set out to do with my new book, Get Insanely Good at AI.

Why I Wrote This Book

AI is everywhere now. Every job posting mentions it. Every tool claims to use it. But most developers I talk to fall into one of two camps: either they are overwhelmed by the hype and do not know where to start, or they have been using ChatGPT for months but still do not really understand what is happening under the hood.

I wrote this book for both groups.

Get Insanely Good at AI does not assume you have a machine learning background. It starts from the ground up: how language models actually process your text, what tokenization is and why it matters, how transformers work, and why understanding these mechanics makes you dramatically better at using any AI tool.

The book is 8 chapters across three parts:

Staying ahead. AI agents and automation, why your existing experience matters more than ever, and what is actually coming next in AI without the hype.
